I had the honor and privilege of participating in Greenville's first NotWedding. It was held at the fabulous Certus Loft with some of the best talent in Greenville. The idea is that the wedding show throws a mock wedding - complete with bride/groom, ceremony and reception with dancing, food, music - the works. I decorated the head table as well as a couple other reception tables. One fun element I made just for the NotWedding was the fabric chandelier hanging above the head table. It was so fun to make, so scary to hang, and so easy to pull down at the end of the evening. Also check out the hops garland hanging behind the chandelier. The thing was massive, but so worth the work.
Below are a few of my favorite shots from the day. Oh, and check Ruffled Blog's post about the event.
Photo credit goes to Angela Cox Photography, Mel Nocks Photography, and Kimberly Gibson Photography. Bouquet and bridal party flower credit goes to Statice Flowers. Holmes Catering and Buttercream Bakehouse should get special mention as well. Thank you for rentals from Professional Party Rental and the farmhouse tables from A Darling Day. Christine Faust coordinated the event and did a fantastic job. There are many others that participated; so go here to see everyone who participated.
